I blend traditional and digital painting techniques, focusing on color, light, and effective visual storytelling. One of my biggest goals with my work is celebrating the beauty of human variation and the stories we have to tell, and balancing that with curiosity and a profound love of the natural world. I’ve worked with a wide variety of clientele such as Virgin Voyages, Scholastic, PBS, A&E, and Wizards of the Coast. I have created art for New York Times Bestselling novels, such as Legendborn by Tracy Deonn and Blood at the Root by LaDarrion Williams. My creativity journal The Art of Life Journal, was the 2023 Silver Winner in the Books and Journals category in the COVR visionary awards.

My educational background is medical illustration, and I have a Masters degree in medical illustration from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Every illustration I create is the product of my own expertise, education, and personal experiences, and I believe an active and curious mind results in the most creatively impactful work. I do not incorporate generative AI into my workflow, and have no plans of doing so in the future.
